Sephora, Vogue, Brahmin, Under Armour, Parsons - I'm feeling spoiled!
Ciao Nomads!
This Aura Hourglass Sheer Cheek Stain is amazing! It's so easy to use, subtle but sweet, and I know in the future that I will always just throw it in my bag and go - thanks Sephora & Vogue for helping me look good and save time! I can't wait to try the new Couture Colour Pequi Oil Hair Treatment I just received too!
Now I'm excited to see what the Brahmin surprise gift is - I'm a HUGE fan!
In other news...Laura and I just finished our first three boards for the Parsons - Under Armour Project. Wish I could show you all because we are thrilled with what we produced and can't wait to get feedback from UA on Thursday! You will just have to wait until May 12th when we present!
Happy Monday - here's to getting work DONE!
Yours truly,
Alex

P90X - Day 15 Chest & Back & Ab Ripper X + Day 16 Plyometrics!
Ciao ciao!
I'm in the midst of midterms, so I'll keep this quick. I was in a creative mood yesterday so I'm doing doubles again today (hey, I'm still in school, give me a break!). Just finished Chest & Back and Ab Ripper X and it felt GREAT. Love a good morning workout plus I did the most sets in each that I've ever done, so for the first time making it this far (I'm past the dreaded two week mark!!!) I am a very happy lady. I've got plyometrics (the "real Day 16") tonight, so wish me luck!
Okay, now to Parsons.
Yours truly,
Alex

Day 14 - Kenpo X - DID IT!
HAHA - okay, I'm a mess this early in the morning, but I am SO proud of myself! I just did EVERY MOVE in Kenpo X...so now it's my favorite of the set. Unfortunately, I missed a day this week, so I'm a bit off, but I'm just going to keep powering through and forget about that day (and that nasty headache!). I'm reading The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor right now and having just read the section on willpower last night, I though I just have to do today and keep going. Otherwise, I will do what I have done in the past at the two weeks mark - give up. I'm not prepared to give up this time. Thank you Shawn! (And Tony!)
Happy goal day!
Yours truly,
Ale X ;)

P90X - Day 11 - One on One - Yoga Fountain of Youth
Ciao ciao Nomads!
Sorry that I'm posting a bit late, but you know - 9 classes plus a little gold medal celebration ;) (I know, it's only the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge, but hey - celebrate everything in life!) So I followed @the_nit's advice (here's his BeachBody Coach Page) and bought the Tony Horton "One on One - Fountain of Youth - Yoga" dvd and did it for the first time on Monday. It's fantastic and I like the "one on one" styling. I also just found out that The New School Recreation Department is offering free yoga classes on Monday's for the rest of the semester, so if I can, I will go in for those!
A couple of images if I may! Here's the top of the course:
The course from the bottom:
My gold medal!
Thanks for letting me brag a bit - I'm sorry! ;)
Yours truly,
Alex
